Safety

Frank Hotels believes in fostering a safe workplace. Safety is a culture where every team member is involved. Your powers of observation, participation in safety meetings, and conscientiousness over providing a safe place for guests to enjoy and employees to work is integral to our success.

Safety Topics

Slips, Trips, & Falls

Wearing proper footwear helps to avoid slipping and falls. Clear walkways to avoid hazards for guests and staff. Immediately report and clean up spills.

Workplace Ergonomics

Proper posture - for all, including front desk agents - helps to avoid spine discomfort and injury of workers. Proper lifting technique is important (lifting with legs). Consideration of desk and storage space design and setup to minimize reach and strain will reduce risk.

Emergency Response & Fire Safety

Review evacuation routes.

Identify assembly points.

Train on fire extinguisher use.

Know who to call.

Electrical Safety

The proper use of cords and electrical components is critical. Regular inspections and repair/replacement can avoid shock & fire hazards.

Safety Committees

Every property has a safety committee. Safety committee members are made up of personnel from every department. Committee members are tasked with being safety aware, active participation in safety meetings, contribution to the safety culture of Frank Hotels, and ensuring every member of their department is briefed following every safety meeting.
